Fitness

Since I was a teenager, I have visited gymnasiums regularly, first in France, then in Spain and in the United States. I have experienced the change in techniques and trends that the sports complexes have undergone in these past years as a member, client and physical trainer. Fitness activities are essential to participate in any sport, to keep the body in shape. I have developed the AtelTrainer Method, which is a fusion of the best training techniques from the east and the west… with its roots in the west.

Basic facilities:

  • Warm-up room & stretching room.
  • Cardio room.
  • Body-Building room.
  • Tatami.
  • Heated swimming pool.
  • Outdoor.

Yoga & Meditation

Tai Chi

I have been doing Tai Chi Yang for some years. It is perfect to compensate our fast paced lives. To flow at every level makes us more balanced and flexible.

Tai Chi helps to canalize our energies.

Practicing Tai Chi Yang I work out my opposite and explosives karate do katas… fast and slow… hard and soft…

When it can be practiced regularly, Tai Chi has numerous benefits. Even more if it is combined with other activities…

Karate

I have been doing Shotokan style karate since I turned 16. In 1987, I got my 1st Dan Black Belt. In 1988, I passed the exam to officially become a sport instructor – with a karate specialization. 1990/1991, I was a Karate Instructor in the SIT Campus, Vermont, USA.

I have participated in many competitions, organized both in France & Spain (Championnat de France à Montpellier, etc.) .

Street Roller Skating

I routinely practice “Street Roller Skating & Fitness skating” which consists of skating long distances (20/30 km) at a controlled pace.

I have participated to in some amateur speed skating races. I participated for fun.

Handball

1976/1979: I was a player of the University of Perpignan’s Handball team. France.

Tennis

I have been playing tennis since I turned 16. In the 80s, I used to play tennis intensively.

Sailing experience

2004/2007, being involved in the 32 Edition of the America’s Cup, I had the chance to enjoy many sailing experiences.
